The American population not only is aging at an heretofore unseen rate, it also is becoming increasingly racially and ethnically diverse, according to a recent study by the Mather Institute.
Perspectives about aging may differ based on cultural values, traditions and spirituality. According to the report, however, differences exist in how those expectations can be met.
