The COVID-19 pandemic forced senior living providers to acknowledge that they are in the healthcare business, but now it’s time to take the next step, to undertake “an evolution that is transformational,” Juniper Communities founder and CEO Lynne Katzmann said Friday.
That evolution involves providers shifting to a wellness mindset while continuing to integrate healthcare services into their offerings, she said as she moderated a session at the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care’s 2025 Spring Conference in San Diego titled “Wellness vs. Healthcare in Senior Care.”
