Karen Kovacs to Lead Sales for Tucson Continuing Care Retirement Community
TUCSON, Ariz. (July 21, 2008) — Splendido, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Tucson, announced today that Karen Kovacs has joined the organization as director of sales. In this role she will work with directors and sales staff to assure achievement of Splendido’s sales goals, as well as planning events for prospects to introduce the resort-style community’s lifestyle and quality of living.
“Karen is a professional who will help educate potential new Splendido residents about the Tucson community and living options available to them,” said Gale Morgan, vice president of sales. “Her knowledge and experience will help the organization reach its goals, especially as the community continues to grow and develop.”
Kovacs brings more than 26 years of real estate experience to Splendido’s sales team. Her most recent position was as the director of sales for Pulte Homes, where she was responsible for sales efforts in the Tucson region including the Del Webb brand, which are active adult communities for people age 55 and older. Working in active adult communities, she also oversaw new home community sales with Levitt & Sons throughout southern Florida.
Kovacs received her bachelor’s degree in education with honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She also received a post-graduate assistant invitation from the Dale Carnegie School of Public Speaking in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Kovacs also is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Arizona.
