Wednesday is Senior Fitness Awareness Day and senior citizens in Chicago are getting fit! Mather- More Than a Café in Portage Park provides many exercise classes for seniors, including yoga. A recent study has shown that yoga can reduce high blood pressure. It also is providing endless benefits to seniors including mobility, improved joint pain and cardiovascular strength.
